Twin Cities-based director Mark Wojahn profiles artist David Hamlow. Hamlow saved five years of product packaging and created a geodesic dome - forcing him (and us) to confront and question that vast, seldom-seen quantity of consumption.

That's some really cool art! It seems like it is really effective in both getting people to engage with it and asking them to think about the consumption that surrounds our modern existence. What's especially interesting is that domes, as a domestic-type structure, offer part of a solution. Anyway, I put a post on The Dome Blog about it! Thanks for the video!

The way this piece frames the art and skips around within the story is lovely and lively.
