Our friends at The Current had a great stage at SXSW this year, which they documented on their music blog. Even better in video though eh? Here's our man Brother Ali performing a few songs and getting interviewed by Mary Lucia.

Brother Ali has the kind of speaking voice that makes me want to keep listening to him talk, like he has something sincere to say and I feel calm and safe after listening.

I was fortunate enough to meet KRS-ONE on that same college tour Brother Ali was talking about. It was amazing! Respect.
