Dan Rather behind-the-scenes March 13, 2007
Andy Carvin interviewed a legend in our own time at SXSW in Austin, Texas: Dan Rather. I taped and edited the interview which is slated to be on today's Rocketboom. As usual, I'm just as interested in the "in-between moments." Here are some little slices of reality before the proper interview started.

"Does Chuck know what he's doing?" I'm not sure, but it seems to be working.

But what happens afterwards once Rather finishes his glass of cheap box wine?
I predict Hookers and Blow.

Hookers and Blow, huh? [Burp!]
Impressive reasoning and insightful anaylsis. That's about as smart a comment as we can expect here on the 'net. With answers like that you move into the bonus round...
It's a good to know democracy and public debate is in good hands with Schlomo at the helm. Any other great insights you might want to add Dr. Wisdom?

Whether or not you know what you are doing, Chuck, I am glad you are doing it!

Did our man Rather get caught on tape saying "Pretty good BullSh*te?"
Awesome.
He knows who you are, alright! ;)

A moment in time that I'm sure you'll always remember. Rather insightful.
