Maeve's Hair February 12, 2007
From A Home in Mound: Dad tries to untangle his daughter Maeve's hair while Cecelia keeps going after the camera. It's a bit long at 12 minutes, but I guarantee you'll laugh at this increasingly absurd situation.

Hilarious! Do parents still use playpens to corral wandering 1-year-olds?
When our #2 Son (now 23) was 2 yrs old or so, he was the terror of barber shops; thrown out of many for screaming, wiggling, & crying. At one, he caused the barber to slash her hand with the scissors, so a 2nd barber had to be called in as substitute to finish the job. We resorted to what we should have done from the start, cutting his hair at home. I'd sit on the floor, with his back to me and my legs wrapped around him as a snare, with the TV on as a distraction. My wife -- not a foolhardy sort -- would cut his hair with kids' safety scissors.
