New Neighborhood House
November 29, 2006

Matt Johnson lives in Columbia Heights and witnessed two houses being replaced by three. The new houses come by truck, 1/2 a house each. Ever seen half a house?

Bizarre. But not quite as cool as flatpack housing.

I haven't seen one, yet, but I do know a couple who are in negotiations to build one in NE Minneapolis. We'll have to send someone over there with a video camera when it happens...

There is a glidehouse http://livemodern.com/glidehouse/ on the east side of Cedar Lake in Minneapolis, near the walking/bike paths!
