Lake Francis
August 10, 2006

We're lucky. Every year, we hang out with our friends in a cabin on Lake Francis. It's the perfect lake: Fairly secluded, great for swimming, and lots of wildlife including bald eagles and loons. I managed to leave the video camera packed away for this year's trip, at least until our friends departed and we had one final day to get our nature groove on. Enjoy.

Was the frog ok? Poor little fella.

I think so. He got poked just below his eye so he was still a fully functioning frog.

btw, cool photos: tree frog and hummingbird

That was beautiful. I've spent way too much time inside this summer. The lilypad was great, as were Lori's feet walking in the water....

I was wondering about the orange stuff in the water, glad it was a reflection. Like the music too.
