1972 Nature Rendez-Vous
June 05, 2006

Take a nostalgic trip back to Minnesota lakes of yesteryear. Aleshia writes:

My mom, Sue Mueller, tried her hand at iMovie and cut together some digitized Super 8 footage shot while fishing with some friends in central Minnesota around 1972. This clip is in narrow-screen format.

This version is edited down to 4.5 minutes. Here's the full original version.

That was great! Nice job, Sue! Man, I really need to try to get my mom and dad's super 8 stuff digitized. This kinda stuff is invaluable!

Some Rusted Root (back to the earth) and some other artists... I'd have to ask Momma Sue for complete credits.

It's great to see footage like this...Seeing lush banks along the lake is such a delight. We are living in the Gotta Build a Big Estate on the Waterfront era, which is so sad.
