Do not be confused, video wanderer! This isn't Dan and Jen's Animal Friends—though they've got plenty of gosling and duck action on their vlog. This is a random duck encounter at the end of Art-A-Whirl. An Indian Runner to be more specific, a breed I'd never heard of, very much resembling a bowling pin.
Somewhat disturbingly, you can buy eggs on eBay and try hatching your own Indian Runner ducks. That's what the woman in this video did, intending to give the ducks to her dad. Sadly, only one hatched. I've seen how UPS packers throw boxes into a truck, so I can't imagine it's easy for them to survive. That's why Nibbles is a miracle duck!

Cute overload! My favorite part is that bit at the end, of course :-)
That was better than a whole week of goslings!
Jen and I have talked about getting a duck or a chicken once our flock gets a little smaller and our yard gets a little bigger, but we probably wouldn't go the ebay way. I agree with Sharyn too; the best part is the end when he's following/waddling after his momma.
Great story. Now I'll be smiling for a while.
o my gosh, that is one of the cutest things i've ever seen... i had a hamster named Nibbles, but Nibbles the Duck is definite competition in cuteness category. So loyal!
