Morris Day on Video Soul
April 07, 2006

Ain't nobody smoother than Morris Day. Here's an interview with him I found on YouTube from around 1987. He chats with Video Soul's Donnie Simpson about recording with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis at Flyte Tyme studios in Minneapolis.

Here's the video for "Fishnet." Have a great weekend!

oh my god! OK--first of all, I'm in awe of Donnie's sweater. Nothing says "80's" like an acrylic intarsia sweater with leather all over it. Secondly: I loves me some Morris Day! I was suit shopping with my honey today and was sad he kept picking all these grey suits. I was like "Don't you want to look cool, like Morris Day?" and he looked at me like I was insane.

Ice Cream Castles is still one of my favorite albums!
