Mike Gunther (Behind the Scenes)
April 14, 2006

Here's a real treat for your Easter weekend: Devil-dancing ladies squarin' off with church-folk! Who will be victorious in this battle for our souls? That's right, you are because you can watch the "hot" new music video from Mike Gunther and His Restless Souls' new album, Burn It Down for the Nails. The song is "Walk All Over It" and it's directed by Suzanne Scholten, who also plays in the band and designed their excellent logo.

This video is a little behind-the-scenes glimpse, shot by myself and our friend Arica. Suzanne works tiny miracles with the "raging rhythm of hell's scarlet brides." Mike Gunther is one funny sun'bitch. And in the end, Anna Lee and Lorika get baptised. Hallelujah!

In other news, you can listen to a new interview about Minnesota Stories on Radio MNartists.org, produced by Marya Morstad. [MP3]

This was crazy Chuck!
My favorite part was at the end:
"You can't put that on Minnesota Stories."
That's what Jen said to me when Spike bit her.

I just listened to the interview.
Very interesting. I love the idea of different "sections" for MNStories. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Blogumentary get vlogified and widely accessible.

I realized on Wednesday how much Minnesota Stories enriches my life. Every day before school I keep checking back periodically for my fix until the story is posted.
Great work Chuck. Your dedication gives me another reason to be proud to be Minnesotan.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

By the way, that "SWEEEEEEET" was not solely directed toward the thought of a premium uncensored MNstories, but rather to the segment, the band, the interview and the premium uncensored feed alike. Just to be clear ;)
