"Toff has two seasons. Students and no students." Apparently there is a long tradition of college campus kitties, an idea which agrees with me very much. The Carleton College campus is owned by one Mr. Toff, and this is his story.
This video comes to us from Karina Hill and Andrew Bartels, two sparks in the percolating mediasphere that is Carleton's Cinema & Media Studies program. Watch for more goodies from these folks in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if they're plotting to takover Minnesota Stories.

Some more anecdotes to add to the Toff legend from a Carl:
- Last fall when it got cold, my friends who lived in the attice of Hill House routinely entertained Toff as a houseguest for the night He slept at the end of their beds and left before they went to class.
- Toff usually turns up as a write-in candidate during the Carleton Student Association elections, normally receiving several votes for many of the positions available.
Very nice. I would love to hear some of the cat sound - natural sound adds a lot. Also - don't be afraid to give yourself a little more credit. It was an excellent piece. You might also want to give yourself a little more breathing room altogether. Your composing skills are very good.
Fantastic. Hats off to Karina Hill and Andrew Bartels. One of the best Minnesota Stories segments to date. Very well put together and quite interesting.
This was such a treat to watch! Excellently shot, edited and narrated...and a terrific subject! Cute as hell without being cutesy-poo!
