This year's State of the Union was actually fairly compelling. That didn't stop us from drinking and taking cheap shots. If you have a video rebuttal, email story@mnstories.com. Or just unleash in the comments, that's much easier.

Thanks for the morning belly laugh! I skipped this years SOTU and instead went to see Jim Northrup read poetry so thanks for the recap.
Since I missed most of the State of the Union speech, thanks for the summary. I was wearing an offensive t-shirt and was asked to leave my family room.
Thanks! the video really brought me for walk down memory lane, GOSH I remember when I was a fat theater major with a minor in video science, and I wore black all the time cause it was cool, certainly not because it was slimming...those were really the days. Although sometimes I do think, mayhaps, (note the bow to the bard!) I should have taken some history or religion or philosophy courses that might have given me perspective on the world...naahhh!
Oh yeah jack I know what you mean, takes me back to when I was a big fat asshole.

OK--all alone in the wi-fi cafe with headphones plugged into my laptop, peeing on myself. Full on whizpants.
We don't have a tv down here so I missed it altogether. Thanks for making me feel as if I was there watching it with you. Vodka, Moo Goo Gai Pan, spit takes and all.
