Good things come in small packages, and mew a lot! After losing our sweet grandma kitty Sabby, Lori and I were ready for some new tiny paws skittering around our house. We became quite obsessed with Bengal cats, which are bred from Asian Leopard cats to look wild but are actually playful, curious and sweet. And usually expensive.
Join us on a trip to Pine City, home of Spotogold Cattery and no-kill animal shelter. They're probably the best Bengal breeders in the Upper Midwest. We just went to look, but we fell in love with the sweetest marbled Bengal boy who still needs a name. Any idea'rs? (We've called him Sprinky, Squeakers, Squinky, and now Miso.)
Watch for an all-kitty videoblog soon!

Miso! Most definitely Miso (although I also dig Squinky) Man, is he ever CUTE!!! It's been ages since I had I had a kitten and I forgot how impossibly adorable they are. What a nice post--congratulations on the new addition!

Steph and I were just talking about getting a new kitty. We only had the one, so we may wait a little longer before jumping back into it. This is definately motivation though. Congratulations.
That is a really cute story.
My bengal died a couple years ago. I loved him soooo much. Best fetch kitty ever. He would stand up as tall as he could on my legs and stare into my eyes. His name was Squeeker.
Bengals are the best.
chuck!
i just got jay out of bed to see this! that's the kind of cat we found! i keep saying to him "she seems like some wild breed" and the vet confirmed this. we have matching kitties! are they not the most beautiful cats?
