7 Days in New Orleans
September 16, 2005

"The whole 7-day deployment changed me forever." Starfire's brother Jim is a paramedic. Here's his first-hand account of life and death in New Orleans. Some harrowing stuff, but also... the Bush girls. This is a must-see.

Nice post, it's good to hear something from someone who doesn't have an agenda down there. Pretty gruesome and terrible for the folks who have to clean-up and rebuild.

By the way; the Como Falls are right across the street from the Pavillion at the lake.
