Local E-DemocracyJuly 28, 2005
This week, Minneapolis hosted the International Symposium on Local E-Democracy . Folks came from around the world to share best practices on how to bring government and democracy into the networked electronic age. The event could have no better host than Steven Clift , whose many accomplishments include Minnesota E-democracy and the Minneapolis Issues Forum . Here are a few highlights from day one.

I'm going to add a regular blog to Minnesota Stories when I get a chance, but until then here are a few housekeeping items:
1) In this video, the URL for E-Democracy should be E-democracy.org (note the dash).
2) Greetings Rocketboom visitors! I heart you.
3) Welcome IFP visitors! I heart you as well. Plus, you live here and make video, so you should send me something.
4) I'm working on enabling y'all to upload video submissions from a web page. Having technical problems there, so just email me for now.
5) Watch for MN Photos in the sidebar next week. Oh, and hopefully some local press.
6) Tell your friends! Tell potential advertisers!

Hi Chuck.
Great video.
Am I ok to put a copy of it with some UK local e-democracy information?
Regards
Fraser.
